Excellent chapter, and I really like Snape in this one, especially his willingness to tell Sarah she got herself into the mess. It's probably not what she wanted to hear, but it made me chuckle.

| Crikey! I am loving this story. Sarah Darkglass is utterly believable as a character. I'm fascinated by this attraction that seems to have sprung up almost of its own accord between her and Snape. Okay, I'll just move on to the next chapter then. | |||

| The Slytherin way of life has to be tough. I don't think Snape would find it quite as much fun as he thinks to turn Sarah into one.
I'd have thought she'd be in the high-energy stage of preggersness by now, by 5 months I'd left the sleepies behind and was nesting something fierce.
Interesting that Snape is asking her where her loyalties lie, but isn't saying himself.
I also loved the bit where Snape admitted he'd tried to find out if Umbridge was working for Voldemort. :*) Author's Response: I was prone to the sleepies all through pregnancy, although I did feel better mid-term. Sarah is under a lot of pressure. She'd probably feel exhausted even if she *wasn't* pregnant. | |||

| Another lovely chapter. Beautifully played. I almost feel as if the two of them are dancing to the same song, and trying to reconcile their steps with each other. I wonder how Snape's going to respond when Sarah starts showing a little more. Most men's panic levels increase to the high frequency range. Snape even *more* tetchy than usual is not something I'd like to be dealing with. Ever! | |||

| A comment I for got to add, I've always thought Dumbldore had a lot of Slytherin in him. I wonder if the Sorting Hat had a problem deciding when he came as a first year. The thoughts about Dumbledore in her head describe him as a consummate Slytherin. Author's Response: Dumbledore strikes me as someone who probably had to learn his Slytherin traits over the course of long and sad experience. I find that the older I get, the more Slytherin I become. | |||
