| Thanks for posting. Interesting take on Remus/Tonks. I hadn't seen the similarities.

When I was thinking about how she would react to Sarah's situation, it occurred to me that she, too, is in love with an older man who leads a dangerous life. That was absolutely a gift. :~) | |||

| I was always checking for updates on the Pureblood archive I'm becoming quite fond with Lucius. But I was disappointed these last couple of days to see less updates but today at least five of my favorite stories were updated. Once finished reading them I wondered. If they updated then you must've also! As I cliiked on recently added. I saw the story updated. You have no idea how happy I was. I was like a child buying candy from a candy store. Very pathetic I tell you. Ok enough of that and now to the serious review. Not bad I have to say. Having Severus a bit annoyed is not surprising but Tonks is not a goof ball in this story. Sounds like if she had matured a bit. What I am really happy is that you made Remus and Tonks together! Oh how I love them paired up together they are the perfect pair. When I read the Harry Potter book and when they mentioned about Tonks liking Remus and he denied it, it broke my heart! But now its just marvelous to see them togther and doing fine. Conner having revenge on Snape? Now that will make the story more exciting! More danger perhaps? Sarah may be at risk during this is situation and Severian as well. When I read your chapters I always stop half way or at the good parts and try to visualize it happening. It looks like a realy movie also! Oh it would be wonderful if this was a movie and a book! Bet you'll be as rich and J.K. Rowling. Fantastic job with this chapter! Author's Response: Thanks, Slytheringurl! I'm glad you're able to visualize the story from my writing. | This is a very lively chapter. The bit with Remus and Tonks was great, and ending it with Sarah evesdropping on their conversation was very HP canonish. Though judging from the fan-fics, a lot of Remus fan-girls found Remus/Tonks to be out of nowhere. When I first started writing my Snape/Tonks fic, I thought that Remus/Tonks was a far more likely ship, canonically speaking. Speaking of canon, Severus saying he expected to be murdered someday was chillingly canon. Looking forwards to how Sarah warps HBP. Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing, Apothecaria! I wasn't so much surprised by Remus/Tonks (as you say, it was a likely ship, canonically), but I was frustrated at how little warning we got. True, there was some foreshadowing, but it just seemed odd that when the kids left school at the end of June, there was no sign of Remus/Tonks, and yet a couple of weeks later, when we see Tonks at the Weasleys', she's so depressed over his unwillingness to marry her that she's lost her powers. I enjoyed filling in that missing space. :~) | |||

| Tonks and Lupin, you called them "this mild man and his young female sidekick. I think it's the other way round, I think Tonks is the dominant personality. In my mind they are 'this young auror and her mild mannered sidekick/romantic interest.
I wonder why Dumbledore decided to let Tonks and Lupin in on the secret. After all the more people who are in on a secret, the harder it is to keep it secret. Albus has enough friends and connections that he could have arranged for a London taxi to meet them and take them to the same place Tonks did.
It's what, 2 months before the baby is due, right? She will have to be near Miriam or at Hogwarts with Poppy, someone will have to deliver the baby. As for fostering him until she can take him herself, ( I hope it will be they can take him themselves) I'm now figuring it will be one of Miriam's daughters. That way Miriam will be able to keep an eye on him and protect him while still not arousing suspicion.
Maybe Severus could arrange for Conner to be pushed in front of the Knight Bus while it's careening along, that would take care of him. Or he could set Conner up and turn him over to Tonks & Moody in a way that would not incriminate him in Voldie's eyes.
At least they were finally getting some action at the end of the chapter. That was a longer dry spell than we've had here in Maryland, February and March had little or no rain. Author's Response: I think Dumbledore wanted to make sure that at least a couple of people in the Order were aware of the situation. I'm guessing that we'll find out (in canon) that someone in the Order also knows about Snape's situation (my money is on Aberforth). Miriam will be delivering the baby--that's always been a given. I love the idea of pushing Connor in front of the Knight Bus! Only it seems like it has magical controls to keep it from actually running over anyone. I thought you'd appreciate the lemon flavoring. :~) | |||

This chapters really brought into sharp prominence a couple of points that your readers (at least this one) had, in fact, forgotten.

| Can I just say again how awesome this is? I wish you a smooth, uncomplicated move...and not just for the selfish reason of wanting new chapters all the time! Seriously, the anticipation is really building. Seeing how well you're integrated cannon in the past I can't wait to see Sarah have her baby and then for the year to unfold. | Excellent once again. I quite like miriam and I'm glad that they finally got out of hogwarts. That bit with Tonks and Lupin was kinda cute too.
