Okay - I've spent a very enjoyable evening reading this story and I must say - More, please!
I like the way you've presented the characters. I especially like the way Snape is NOT the fabulous lover in this story, as he is in so many other stories (mine too, I'm ashamed to say). The Snape of fantasy isn't probable, or so I've always thought (and regretted).
Anyway, I look greatly forward to more and shall follow this story with interest! |

Nice beginning - I loved Wizards and Warriors from all those years ago and Dirk Blackpool (Duncan Regher) was my favourite character in the series! So ta for that nod. I shall continue to read, happily! |

What an elaborate way to communicate! I really enjoy their exchanges - the dialogue is wonderfully flowing and they talk to the point - it is pretty impossible to imagine Snape talk in a different way. I love how he is so OC!!! Hmmm... And I definately hope she won't get caught ;) |

By the way, that should be Lisa, not Lee some. Voice recognition software is not the easiest thing in the world to use when you're in a hurry and have bronchitis. ~Lisa |

The bookmarks are ingenious! I always love new magic. And I get the feeling, if Harry is caught in his invisibility cloak, it will be taken from him. :-) ~Lee some
Author's Response: The idea for the bookmarks was sparked partly by the instant messaging parchment in Wishweaver's story "Realizations," and partly, of course, by Tom Riddle's diary. All of that just came together sort of serendipitously with the thought about why people would want a lock of their lover's hair. And it's nice and potionsy.
I'm trying very hard to keep this story canon-compatible, so Harry gets to keep his cloak, although there will be another funny reference to it later on. |

Oh, I forgot to mention, THANK YOU for allowing Snape to use contractions. It seems with some fic that Snape's snarkiness is boiled down to using "I will not" "you do not" "he cannot" which really kind of misses the point.
Author's Response: I actually spent a little bit of time studying his speech patterns before I started writing him, and he does use contractions. Who'd have thunk? I really have to make myself put them in, consciously, though. The natural instinct is not to let him. |
