Severus and Mahaut are really, really old, and they have retired. Mahaut realises that the time for her third vision is approaching, so she gathers their family together, whilst trying not to let Severus know what is going on. Third part of a trilogy with "Bring me the Head of Bellatrix Lestrange" and "The Colchian Inheritance" But you can read it on its own if you just like the idea of two old farts in a garden. Sort of Potterverse meets Catherine Cookson type sprawling family saga, which is odd, because I never read sprawling family sagas, so I don't quite know how I ended up writing one. Warning for character death is for at the very end, and relates to the final chapter of "Bella" More original characters than you can shake a stick at. Well, duh, their kids are hardly going to be Albus and Minerva now, are they?Thank you to whoever nominated this story for a multifaceted award, in the intelligence/drama category.
