My first impression was how improbable. But you have always written Ellie as very impetuous-doing irrational things when she was angry. So this does fit. interesting turn of events.

And baby makes three. The little tyke will be slytherin around in no time at all. More trouble on the horizon, I'm sure.
I enjoy all your chapters, and I'm very bad at leaving insightful reviews.
Author's Response: Your encouragement is insight enough. This is such a long story and it ain't over yet. You may hate it by the time you reach the end. If you do, I trust you will tell me. Many thanks and good luck getting back on the new chapters page. ###Liz |

finally the chapter's up. dunno about you, but personally i think the last 2 sentences (made by Ellie) made her sound bratty and insincere about her apology. since its her own fault that she got into that mess in the first place. i hope that we can see a more mature side of her in further chapters. apart from that, its an evil evil cliffhanger!!!
Author's Response: Yes, it is her fault. She never should have gone to Malfoy, even though she did as she had promised. In all fairness though, she really thought Severus was dead. She decided on her own that being with Malfoy was wrong before she found out Severus was still alive. She had only begun to deal with his dead when he mystically pops up alive and says, "Gee wiz, I'm really alive, so sorry about that. Now things will go back to normal. Oh, by the way you kept my promise, but then you slept with him so now I am going away again." That is pretty messed up if you ask me. I got mad at Ellie when I wrote in the sex with Lucius bit, but there is a reason for it. Also, Severus was gone when she said those last words. She really and truly hates herself for being so weak while he was dead, but now that he is back she thinks she is going crazy. Sorry for all the rambling but I had way too much coffee this morning. ;) |

This was a very funny, light-hearted chapter. Many hilarious lines. The college story seemed very real. Was it? Do you really know people like that? I hate high maintenence women too.
Author's Response: I am glad that you like it. High maintaintence women drive me nuts! And you caught me, that college story really did happen.
Author's Response: I wrote it in as a tribute to my German friend Stefan who always held my hair while I was face down in the toilet. |

Well, it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. The Malfoy Moment, I mean. I really liked all the Egyptian details in this chapter, and I'm worried that Snape will fry in the sun. Hope he brought a Sun Block Potion along. You are so good at thinking up potions, by the way. Draught of Disunity. I wonder if my husband has been taking that...
Author's Response: Ha, Ha...most men are fairly good about separating their emotions from the physical act anyway. There are many more Malfoy moments coming. They do get worse. ###Liz |

They are a pair, aren't they? Fight, kiss, make up. Malfoy. Blaaach. I don't even like typing that name. I am curious, and yet I cringe thinking of what is to come.
Author's Response: I hope you won't get mad when you find out. |

A very entertaining chapter. I always notice the special little touches writers put into their work: "The only thing you can't do is Apparate." Makes perfect sense to me. Also: "Who else could sneak up on us like that and make me feel so ill?" Yup. I thought that was a very funny line.
Author's Response: Thanks, I do try. We wouldn't want Ellie to get splinched while she's preggers, would we? ;) Liz |

A very enjoyable chapter. I like the enchanted wedding rings to pass information back and forth. Very inventive. Ellie gives good Christmas gifts too! And, thanks for the limerick!
Author's Response: Well, what does one give a Potions Master for Christmas? I thought Snapey might like those. That Limerick was ridiculous, but I thought you might appreciate it. ###Liz |

Smack them both for me... what did Severus think would happen if she went to Malfoy like he told her to? Oh, yeah, I guess he doesn't have cable television. :-D Good build-up, nasty cliffie! Is there hope for our couple?
~Lisa
Author's Response: The story is far from over, my dear LariLee! It was a little nasty of me to stop right there, wasn't it? I have a mean streak now and again, and so does Snape, but fear not; things will get better...for a time...in time...but which time? MWAHAHAHAHAH!!!!! |

I love weddings. I'm sure things will soon take a turn for the worse again, though. Great dialogue in this chapter. Love the line, "...and the basilisk you rode in on."
Author's Response: I love that line too. I almost used it once in conversation, but was sure the other party would not understand. You know how life is, up, down, inside out, and all around. Things will be happy...sort of. Ande then they won't.
