Reviews for The Magic of Old

LariLee 2004.11.17 - 08:10AM 22: In The Beginning There Was Blood Signed
I loved the birthday party, especially "When the party was over and all the cake had been scraped off of the floor and the windows and the furniture," Truly spoken by anyone who has a two year old! And I'm voting for the happy ending where Malfoy dies, the Dork Lard is defeated, and everyone lives happily ever after! Another great chapter, dear! ~Lisa

Author's Response: So, Lisa, you want the Fluffy option, hum? Are you sure about that? I can do fluffy, but there are many choices, some of which lead to a new beginning...;)

"Dork Lard": I hope that wasn't a typo because that was really funny!

Jucier and jucier! And oh, that Malfoy! He needs to get bitch slapped.

Author's Response: Hello! Thank s for reviewing!!!

Wouldn't we all love to slap the hell out of the evil Licius Malfoy! He'll get his, but first the story is going to take an odd turn to friendly. Don't worry, I have big plans for the blond-haired bastard. Severus and Lucius are going to reach an agreement (or so they think) but it will not last forever. I hope you keep on reading. #### Liz

I'm wondering what the blood injection is all about, and if it will cause Ellie to loose her powers or something. A girl? She'll probably be adorable, if you intend to let her live. A boy baby would have been more like his father. Maybe. Bump off Malfoy and spare the babe!

Author's Response: If she lives she will look just like her mother. Do you remember the dreams? Will the curse pass on to the baby? Will I kill someone off? I think I will... ;) ###Liz

::singsong:: I was right! I was right! Whew! Can we kill Malfoy now? So what has this blood done to her? Is it permanent? Can we kill Malfoy now? Darn you--more questions! It's bleeding over into this story, now! ~Lisa

Author's Response: Yes, you were correct. I would love to kill Lucius right now, but I have other plans for him. If you recall, the blood of a relate Squib renders a Sorceress powerless. Severus is a Potions Master, my dear. Do you really think he won't be able to fix his wife? Now, about the baby...will she live or die? Wait and see. I'm sorry for all the questions, but I am a little evil. Snape has rubbed off on me. Well, I wish he would anyways. ;) ####Liz

I think I know what is going to happen, but I hope I'm wrong. Guess I'll just have to wait for the next update. I'm glad Severus is back, though.

Author's Response: As if I could have a story without the leading man! Things are going straight to hell!!! (for a while)

Loveless sex with Lucius. I am sorry that I ate such a rich breakfast. Honi soit qui mal...Okay, Dogface is alive, but who is that shadow around the corner...hmm?

Author's Response: He turns my stomach too, but the man who plays him in the movies is dead sexy! I love the improbable mantra...and who do think is around the corner?

I refuse to believe it. I will keep reading until things work out the way I want them to. By the way, was Julian calling Snape "Daddy" in baby talk, or predicting his future teaching job?

Author's Response: LOL!!! I suppose that is a fair question, considering that the miniature Slytherin is a bit of a seer. The fromer is correct. LOL.

I like the way you wrote all the characters in this chapter, and the description, "wicked and warty". I could hardly concentrate, though, because I couldn't stop wondering who you were going to kill in the next chapter. Guess I'll read on now and find out!

Author's Response: Fear not.

Snape as a doting father to his infant son; Lucius showing genuine concern for Ellie's welfare (I think.) I can't decide which is the more frightening image. But now it's time to spy, and I can't wait to see how you plan to upset the apple cart this time. As always, a wild and entertaining read.

Author's Response: Thank you, Karina. Most of the rest of the story deals with Ellie's mystery, but I did manage to screw up a little JKR plot or two, albeit passively.

My first impression was how improbable. But you have always written Ellie as very impetuous-doing irrational things when she was angry. So this does fit. interesting turn of events.

Author's Response: Yes. Without trying to steal the title of an excellent story, it is highly improbable;) Just wait, there are many more occurances that are improbable, but they are fun, and sad, and silly, and... Ellie get in deep and Severus will be less than pleased. She really can be hasty in her decisions.
