I can't believe it's over-- the ending fits, of course, and it leaves us almost where canon begins. Sorry to be so late checking up. I'm very glad I did. This is definitely a fic I'll read again. Looking forward to "The One Who Left Forever." Thanks so much.

| Yay! Glad to see you continuing with this story. I always pictured Lockhart and Snape as about the same age myself, but Lockhart being on eof Snape's students works, too. And the shampoo, hee hee!
I really like how you illustrated Snape's torn feelings and his resentment of Harry Potter. |

| Wow! I just love this story, and I'm so glad I found it. I can' t believe how realistic this is! I only noticed two things that were "out of canon." Ollivander's wand cores (which could have changed since Snape was a child anyways), and James' and Sirius' ability to interfere with a broomstick as a young child (though I guess young Sirius could have picked up the Dark magic to do so from his family).
I love how you've shown seamless transitions throughout Severus' life, and made all of what we know from JKR fit with it. You're amazing! |

This is excellent! You have Dumbledore spot-on, and the tension is palpable. Alas, poor Snape, as we know, his effort was for naught.

I thought the last two chapters were intense. This just bowled me over. I about wept. I saw this coming, but it was still heart-wrenching.
