yay!!! so glad to get more of this story. looking forward to the interview, need more Tonks/Sev.
Author's Response: Well, no "interview" at least that we get to see from Snape or Tonks' perspective... but hopefully this works almost as well. |

G** D******, this is why I am not a submissive woman. You can't go back and edit for spelling after you've already hit the submit button.
Author's Response: LMAO! Well, I'll pretend I never got the first one. I would've deleted it for you, but it seems I don't have the power, either. |

[Falls off chair] You updated! I like the new tone. Your style is as sharp and evocative as ever. I can clearly see what the characters are doing. There is still a frisson of tension building between Tonks and Snape; it's delicious. Healing charms to your family, and (((hugs))) to you, from a complete stranger.
Author's Response: *gives a hand up* Careful there!
I am glad that you continue to like the story, and even consider parts of it to be delicious! (It still surprises me that apparently I have a new tone, although enough people have said that now that I'm beginning to believe it.)
Thanks for your good thoughts for my family. |

Author's Response: I thank you so much for your kind thoughts. Everyone's doing much better now... well except a brief issue with me and a broken tooth... but otherwise, all good.
Also, (please make sure you're seated in a non-precarious position) I've updated again. |

I've probably seen every movie Cary Grant ever made. His movies never seem dated, even the one with Mae West.
I have to retract that first statement. I just checked IMDb and I've only seen every movie he made since 1937. He made 73 movies and I've seen more than 60 of them, I missed some of the movies he made in the early '30s.
Be sure to see Topper and Arsenic and Old Lace, they will both have you rotfwl. I never saw a leading lady who didn't have a chemistry with him. What woman wouldn't want to be with Cary Grant anyway?
Author's Response: Okay, I just rented Arsenic and Old Lace from my library - I'd been meaning to see it anyway.
And my, that's a lot of Cary Grant movies you've seen! I am duly impressed.
I've been playing around with another screwball comedy idea inspired by old movies, but as interesting as the idea is, I really don't think I want to write it! How sad is that? Might post it as a challenge somewhere. |

Great. Your style has changed ever so slightly, less attributes, it's good, it works well. A nice fast-moving chapter which kept to the point and had some beautiful one liners. Keep it up, sweets. Norma xxx
Author's Response: Glad you like! My earliest drafts are generally dialogue-only; I go in and add tags later. I think it just means that I went through and revised this one less! Norma? |
