| I like your take on that scene! It's great how Snape never really needed any help, and wasn't terribly emotionally scarred by the incident ...which goes along with my pet theory that Snape only made a production of putting this memory in the Pensieve before the first Occlumency to make sure that Harry would watch it. Author's Response: I agree that Snape *wanted* Harry to see this memory. And I think it was a very important memory. But I keep going back and forth as to whether it was one of Snape's *worst* memories. In this story, I don't think it is. | |||
