YAY!! She's safe now!*whippes sweat off forehead* Amazing and full of excitement! ----Sev was a hero again today! ~J+L4ever P/s: keep those chapters coming!---this is very great!!!

Author's Response: You aren't the only one relieved that Severus showed up. Poor Aurelia was quite relieved, too. :)

It is a good thing Severus and Harry made it on time, I dread to think of what Lucius would have done to Aurelia. I can't wait to see what this brings about in the next chapter! Well done :)

Author's Response: thanks, snapehp. Lucius is a very bad man and it owuld not have been good for Severus not to mek it in time. Finishing touches are going onto the next chapter. :)

Good story. Please keep writing.

Author's Response: Thanks, EXECUTR. I have the next chapter out to beta and will hopefully have it posted soon. :) I will follow this story through until the end. I have the big concepts mapped out and have to fill in the little details.

I loved the fact that neither Harry or Snape are willing to let the past mistrust die, but eventually agree that it must be done. Though I still don't think they will ever get along that well. I hope Malfoy goes to Azkaban. Snape having a plan is so in character versus Harry charging in, and I like the fact that Snape is staying by her side. Please continue.

Author's Response: Thanks, Amanda. You are right about both men being stubborn. :) Malfoy has been a very bad man in this fiction. He does need to be punished. We'll see what happens. *wink*...As for Snape, i don't think he'll be getting too far away from her for a while. :)

I am confused by one or two points in this chapter. What did Malfoy mean when he told her he could only tell her the truth if she agreed to help him? What is this 'truth' he keeps talking about? I remember how bad off Severus was in Wounded. How is Lucius able to function so well when he had to take the same Loyaty Potion that Severus did? The chapter was intriguing, a combination of attempted seduction and Stockholm Syndrome. I wonder if Lucius was counting on the Stockholm Syndrome to break break down her defences and make her really vulnerable to him? Adrian seems to be somewhat less manipulative that Albus was, even so he managed to have Snape accept Harry Potter as his sidekick. I think I would have asked for Shacklebolt myself, but I can't remember if Kingsley survived the war. So it's Harry and Hermione, what happened to Ron & Ginny? Did they survive the war? Anyway Severus found her and Harry covered his back as well as getting Lucius in the back. Now the two of them have a stable working relationship and no longer feel such mutual hatred for on another, and Harry gets to take Malfoy in as his capture. Everything has worked out OK so far, but I did miss Eileen in this chapter.

Author's Response: Ah, another wonderfully in depth review. Let's see what I can do to answer your questions.

*Malfoy's truth* At this point, he is tired of living on the lamb and thinks that he can weasel is way back into society's good graces. The only problem is that he needs to be able to denounce Voldemort, which he can't do right now. Now, whether or not he's really telling the truth, I wouldn't bet on it.

*Lucius still funcitoning* Severus had problems because he was betraying Voldemort by attacking his fellow DEs. Lucius never did that. He knew what the potion was and fled the country because he knew he couldn't speak out. So the two questions are sort of related.

As for Stockholm Syndrome, Lucius was most definitely counting on it. He needed her to help him willingly. Of course, there would still be that matter that he kidnapped her, but he would have come up with something. ;)

For who's alive, I know that Ginny didn't make it (I looked that up), I think Ron made it, but I can't remember about Kingsley. I just thought it would be more fun to saddle him with Harry and maybe finally bury that hatchet. As for Eileen, I am working on a filler fic for her and she will play a role in the next chapter.

It is so good to see an update to this wonderful story. I had to break away from the chapter for a bit since it was getting so tence and I was so afraid that Malfoy would break her spirit before Severus came. Great chapter.

Author's Response: Wow! That is some amazing praise on the tension. I guess when you work on it for a few weeks, you kind of lose track of how tense it is. I'm glad to have delivered a ray of hope at the end of the chapter so that you could rest easy. :) Malfoy is a slimy git, isn't he? At least here. ;)

Yeah, I love this chapter! I liked a lot the way you got Harry into the story one more time. Thanks for the update!

Author's Response: Thanks, Alexis. I hadn't originally planned to have Harry return to the story, but after reviews of his first appearance, I decided that it would be fun to have him reappear. :) I'm glad you liked it.
