| The headmaster is disapointing me. I had hoped that Adrian and Severus could be friends or at least civil to each other. But it seems that Adrian is baiting Severus, which is never a good idea. It occurred to me as I read this chapter that the majority of my past readings either Hermione or Severus is fairly certain that they are meant to be together. It is disconcerting to have both Aurelia and Severus waffling about. Perhaps the birthday dinner will solidify things? Author's Response: Ah, Adrian...Severus is such a complex man that I don't think anyone just gets him. One of the things I love about this story is that they aren't sure. He has all his baggage, she has hers and they wonder if they can get past it all. LOL | |||

| I think Snape would be very awkard, as he doesn't exactly have a lot of experience with women. I like that about him, as it makes him more human. Oh well, hopefully he will be able to sort things out soon. Will Remus ever be able to fully overcome the transformation? Author's Response: Thanks, Amanda. You are right that Snape would be very awkward. That whole lack of experience would definitely play into this. As for Remus, that will be revealed as the story progresses, though it would be nice to be able to spare him that, wouldn't it? | |||

| Poor Severus. He is trying so hard. Aurelia needs to sort out her feelings! Author's Response: Severus is the unlucky victim of a confused woman. Hopefully she will get herself straightened out before he gets too frustrated. | |||

| I'm enjoying the interplay between Snape and Eileen/Irma, she does know him well even though she's been out of the loop as his mother for years. Adrian is as nosy as Dumbledore, I wonder if he has all the facilities Ablus had to keep track of everything that happened at Hogwarts. I wouldn't be surprised if Eileen and Adrian start conniving together. At least he got to write the note on his own, even if it was a very romantic note. Update soon, I'm anxious to find out how their dinner at the Three Broomsticks went. Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoy the Snape/Eileen interaction. That was a late addition to the story, but I'm glad I did. If she started colluding with Adrian, I don't think that Severus would have a chance. LOL I'm working to finalize the next chapter so it should be up soon. | |||

| "He found his inability to understand women quite frustrating." Quite true. But now, that he has his mother as an adviser, things should become a little easier for Severus. At least I hope she will not be as meddlesome as the headmaster. For now, I am looking forward to the next meeting between Aurelia and Severus. Keep up the good work :o) Author's Response: Hopefully he will listen to advice that his mother gives. I like to think that Albus left instructions that Adrian is make sure Severus socializes. ;-) I hope you will enjoy the next chapter and the dinner scene...As for him finding women frustrating, don't all men at some point?
