| About me: I’m a British woman in my 30's, residing in the Ribble Valley in north-west England. I’m a pharmacist, and a newly-qualified counsellor. My penname, Agnus Castus, is a herbal remedy for women’s hormone problems. I love to hear from readers and gratefully welcome positive and negative feedback. One of the reasons I post on Occlumency is because of the wonderful in-depth reviews – my thanks to you in anticipation. Now that The Unconditional Vow has been completed, my immediate plans are to revamp a one-shot PWP which I wrote a couple of years ago, and post the story on Occlumency. After that, who knows? I have some ideas in the incubator, so we’ll see which ones hatch. I’m looking for a beta-reader who can help with (British) grammar/punctuation, word usage etc – please let me know if you’re interested. Since posting my work on Occlumency, I’ve felt welcomed and have enjoyed being part of a warm, friendly community. I’m not on LiveJournal (too scared!) but instead I’ve set up a group on Facebook for folks who appreciate good quality SS/OC fanfic. It would be great if we could meet each other there and share our thoughts and feelings on the SS/OC universe. I felt the greatest gift I could offer Snape was some closure before his death; it’s a tragedy that Snape never experienced unconditional acceptance during his life. A lot of people ask if Snape dies. The answer is: this is a canon-compliant story. Right to the end. However, that doesn't mean the ending is sad – it’s bittersweet, but perhaps not as rigid and foretold as you might expect. | |

The Unconditional Vow by Agnus Castus   [Reviews - 262] *COMPLETED* Following Dumbledore's death, Snape returns to Grimmauld Place. Snape finds Dumbledore's plan to protect him after the fateful night on the Astronomy Tower is not quite what he was expecting.
