Title: The Highly Unlikely Challenge


Think of the one situation Severus Snape is most unlikely to be in. Something that is going to border on OOC for him. Your mission, if you choose to accept it: Make it IN character!

Specs:

-It must be at least 1000 words and no more than 10,000

-The central theme must be getting Professor Snape to do something he wouldn't normally do-- convincingly.

-The reason he's doing it must be clearly explained.

-The reason cannot be simply that Dumbledore told him to do so. While Dumbledore might very well have been the one who ordered it, there has to be a reason.

-He must protest initially and be convinced.

-He must actually go through with it


You must include at least six of the following:

-Snape saying 'Oh, I thought we’d keep this private'

-Snape saying 'If I might speak, Headmaster'

-Snape saying 'Excuse me but I believe I am the Potions master at this school.’

-Snape saying 'Fascinating'

-Snape saying 'You have a habit of turning up in unexpected places'

-Snape saying 'Vengeance is very sweet.'

-Snape saying 'For once in your life, hold your tongue!'

-Snape saying 'And what is all this noise about?'

-Snape saying 'You don’t have the authority to send me anywhere!'

-Snape saying 'I think I will go back to bed,'

-Snape saying 'What is this rubbish?'

-Snape saying 'what is this supposed to be?'

-Snape saying 'I beg your pardon?'

-Snape saying 'I suggest you ask him,'

-Snape saying 'I suppose this is relevant?'

-Snape saying 'I am here on Dumbledore’s orders'

-Snape saying 'Because the Headmaster thinks it a good idea,'

-Snape saying 'You will not repeat what you saw to anybody!'

-Snape saying 'it will mean a lot of tedious paperwork'

-Snape saying 'Put that wand away at once,'


You must include at least four of the following:

-Snape deducting points from someone's House

-Snape giving a detention to someone

-Melting a cauldron

-Neville's boggart

-The restricted section

-Christmas Crackers

-An argument with a sentient object (ie-- mirror, painting, statue, etc)

-Poetry

-Detention with Filch

-Questioning from Aurors

-Sexy underwear

-Snape taking another teacher's class

-Muggles

-A creative hex


Any rating is fine, and any genre is fine

No relationship is necessary, though not discouraged either (No sexual relationships between underage anyone and adults).
