I like your story very much, even with Snape sometimes being out of character. Especially the clumsiness in the last chapter was so cute - and well, he might even be like that if in love. The more so I didn't understand Geillis behavior - I mean if you're in love with someone, you don't want him to sleep on the sofa, do you, even if he is being overprotective. I would have pulled him into bed on the spot, with his georgeous clumsiness. But well, she proved to be a bit bitchy at times, so it is probably character-compliant. You might wanna write a sequel to this revealing how their marriage is going and how lovely clumsy Snape is as a father. I bet that would be funny. *g*
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. :) This was my very first try at writing fan fiction (well, in the Potterverse, at least), so I knew that my portrayals of the canon characters would probably be more than a little out-of-character. I've actually been toying with the idea of re-writing this fic; I'm reasonably proud of what I was able to achieve with it, particularly since it was my first fic and I wasn't really that good of a writer when I started working on it, but I've got a lot of WIPs that I consider to be much more of a priority, including a sequel to this fic that's been in the works for years. (I kind of hit a bit of a characterization wall that I think I might be close to working around, once I reignite my enthusiasm for that story.) If you'd like to see what I've posted of it so far, it's up at fanfiction.net. My pen name there's the same, and the fic's called "Gone Quantum". Again, thanks for your review; it's always a pleasant surprise to see something new for one of my older fics. :) |

I really enjoyed this peice and make sure you post the sequal. You have a geat writing style that I would like to see more of.
Author's Response: Thanks for your review, and sorry for my late response. The sequel does exist, and part of it's posted at fanfiction.net (though I suspect it'll need heavy revising). Because the stories are both so old (when I wrote them I was working with the canon of books 1-5), I'm having a bit of trouble with reconciling the sequel to the new canon information. It may very well end up being a comedy with a not-so-happy ending, but we'll see. |

| I completely agree about the Highwayman, it has been one of my favorites since I read it in English class, that and the works of Poe, I hope you use them too. ANyway that was a good chapter and I cann't wait to read the next one. |

| --The owl that flew down from the window was lucky that he didn’t strangle it. Almost certainly sensing this, it carefully kept its distance as it dropped the note and flew away as quickly as it possibly could.-- LOL! Anyways great chapter! I love the exchange of words between Snape and Lockhart! And poor Snape and poor Geillis!
