This was positively... thrilling! There is nothing like dark!Snape - I can't imagine anyone sexier. And his platonic albeit non-consensual fantasies are very funny, especially, lecturing Hermione without being interrupted. :) I hope she'll enjoy her punishment, though, thus ruining his malicious, self-confident intentions. I have never been a fan of Snape/Hermione and thus have rarely ever read this pairing. But I like this! I eagerly await chapter two. Author's Response: I'm glad I've interested you in a pairing that is not generally of particular interest to you! I'm putting the next bit up now. :)

This is one of the very few Snape/Hermione stories I've ever read (in fact, it's difficult for me to imagine Severus desiring any woman besides Lily), but I'm really glad I discovered it. Your writing is rich, funny and clever, and your Snape is darkly seductive to say the least. I won't wish good luck to Hermione - it wouldn't help her! :D Looking forward to the next chapter! Author's Response: Thank you! I understand-it's always difficult for fans to see beyond the pairings they ship.
