| Well, I must say that in answer to the question “What was Snape going to do?” I did not expect the answer to be “Purchase a copy of A Slytherin Seduction” hahaha! Intriguing... Really enjoyed the dialogue and interaction between Marius, Isolde and Kathy amongst the doilies, and the thought of a teenage Snape setting foot in Puddifoots made my heart ache momentarily. It’s disturbing to hear that Flank will be a permanent fixture during term-time; that’s going to cause our protagonists further worry. I liked the way Isolde’s certainty was uprooted by Snape apparently being BFF with her father’s friend. Nice cliff-hanger at the end! | I enjoyed reading Brinkley’s back-story... He and Snape seem well-matched as proprietor and customer! I’m glad that Snape has gained some understanding about Isolde’s predilection for bodice-rippers, and he also acknowledges she needs an escape from him, too, from time to time. Since he’s been futilely obsessed with a certain redhead for a great many years, maybe Snape can find some escapism in the arms of Isolde... Oh, NO! What am I saying?! *slaps own wrists* ;o) Author's Response: Oh gosh, I know! Lily, despite being dead for 14 years, is still going to cause some complications for Severus, bless him. Neither of us are fans of Mrs Potter, but we thought it would be unrealistic to deny her presence in his life/heart. Thanks so much for the reviews! xx | |||

| The Mewling Quim--lol!--how deliciously decadent, ladies! Brava! Great detail, action and atmosphere depicted--oh, our stalwart Severus, so glad he wasn't forced into their debauchery against his will and escaped to Hogsmeade to clear is head in the crisp clear air--only to be seduced back to... the bookstore--what will he find there? | Delicious angst being layered on--Love the openness and honesty between Isolde and Severus being shared. Hair-raising and wonderfully sickening news from Hamilto--married to Flank--yuck!!! Oh Severus, forget Dumbles--I think you can help Isolde in another way regarding her virginity and not entail the old coot-- lol!-- seriously, poor Sev, once again having to turn and put trust in Dumbledore *sigh*... great chapter!xxx Author's Response: Tehehehe! This story would be much shorter indeed if Severus "helped" Isolde with her virginity problem. Yes, the news of her impending nuptials to Flank is indeed unpleasant. | Bravo, Isolde! Poor Severus and his bloody knuckles... A part of me hopes to find out more about Isolde's mother, although another part of me sickens at the thought of her and how and why she knew to train Isolde against her father's friends... perhaps the poor woman had had a need of it herself one too many times... Wonderful angst and hutzpah from Isolde--daring to take the next step between the two of them--that's our girl! Wonderful chapter! Author's Response: Yes, I think Isolde's mother had a fairly rough time of it too, and we may discuss her a little later in the piece. I don't want to give too much away ;) It was particularly brave of our Isolde to make the first move, but Severus probably would not have done so. Thanks again :) | |||

| Oh, Marius is such a sweetie and a true knight in shining armor coming to the rescue with the dress--*happy dance*--Can't wait to read all of the others reactions! So happy that Isolde feels comfortable and that the innocence of true friendship and love that she shares with Marius brings some moments of light and warmth to her! Lovely chapter! | I don't know what poor Isolde is going to do, nor how Severus is going to balance things and find a way to protect her... The storm of debauchery that is brewing is wonderfully depicted: the three greaseballs are delicious and sickeningly effective in their depiction--just gives one the shivers! Great chapter!!! | Love the layering on and ripple effects of Lucius and his evil ways/influence all the way to the dress tailors salon... the foreboding current underneath the hype and preparation and banter of Isolde and her peers is stronger and stronger, pushing and building --wonderful, intriguing layers!!!xxx Author's Response: Thanks! | Love the complicated and richly layered back story of Isolde's background interwoven so richly with the Hogwarts tapestry--loved the Greenhouse scenario and all of the details--just wonderful! Love Severus' passion being disclosed and his struggle with his mind and emotions; love Isolde's intellect, sensibilities and strength and feisty nature--but sorry for poor Marius...
