Her body had felt as insubstantial as ash, the veins of her hands like fading runes on crumbling paper. The story of her life, written there, and such a fiercely guarded text, with certain pages read by none… save one.
Beautiful imagery there.
Oh my...this is simply lovely, so lush with gems for all the senses.
Author's Response: Thank you so much - the Muse was being kind to me the night I wrote that little piece. She's oftentimes quite indifferent to my pleas ! There's a piece in queue right now that's considerably darker - she's not always a gentle guide, I fear. |

Oh I loved it! You are right of course, these lovely little snippets always hold me over until the next installment of IHN. Your vast knowledge of Celtic culture never ceases it amaze and educate me! As a Jew here in Prague Celtic culture something we rarely encounter and I welcome your enlightenment! Thank you!
Author's Response: So happy you were pleased ! I have a dear friend who just recently visited Prague - she said it was exquisite - one of the most beautiful cities she's ever seen. I have an idea ticikling the back of my brain that Severus may have had Eastern European roots - and wouldn't Prague be a wonerful place to investigate that ?? |

Oh, wow... this is gorgeous as your work always is, and just incredible. One wonders why he waited so long, but perhaps he had some sort journey of his own in between.
Author's Response: I suspect most of us have considerable soul work / healing to take care of when we make our Crossing. Severus, I imagine, needed a great deal of time to allow his spirit to become whole again. |

This story is amazing. It touched me so deeply
Author's Response: Thank you so much. I've seen from your bio that you are an artist and musician, so you understand that there is no more treasured accolade than to know you've reached someone, even for a moment, in some way that feels profound. I am honored. |
