It actually makes sense! They got sad, got drunk, got pregnant, got married. Of course, Tonks still comes across as gay, so I think her lost love should have been a woman, but one can't have everything. ;-) Author's Response: Hmmmm... you know I hadn't really considered whether Tonks might be gay or not. Perhaps I'll use that another time. I'm never wedded to any particular explanation for why Remus and Tonks don't work as a couple. They just don't for me. Thanks so much for leaving me your feedback!
