Reviews for Quantum Mechanics

What's wrong with this girl's self-confidence? That she keeps letting herself be duped? She's WAY too naive!!! I just want to punch that guy!!!

Author's Response: Let's see, timeline-wise, this is early 1981, when such things weren't common, but they did happen. A woman in this situation would have been told by other female students to stop bragging, while among the mostly-masculine staff, there would have been a sense that she was asking for it and therefore open to *their* advances, too. If Severus had still been on the scene, she would have been able to go to him, but that avenue was cut off. Thank you for all the lovely reviews, today!

Poor Septima!!Things just seem to go from bad to worse for her. I do hope things begin to turn around!

Author's Response: Well, we're not going to dwell on this situation. It's bad enough that it happened. At least she can get away when she goes to Hogwarts. Thank you for reviewing!

Thank you for commenting on and highlighting through your story the sexual harassment, pressure and abuse that goes on in work and educational institutions and, in your author's note, options to be considered (although not for poor Septima... ).

Author's Response: Well, in that time, even Muggle women tended to be on their own in such situations, but that is no longer the case, I hope. There's got to be someone at the school or the office or the employment commision that can help. I hated to just leave it there without pointing that out. Anyway, thank you for the reviews!
