| Dear ladies, know I left a comment on Muffliatto, but I love re-reading this: the mood and tone of the holiday's meaning and experience for Severus, as well as the relationship with Eileen being touched on, contrasted with Lily's tone, are all so wonderfully contrasted and conveyed. The foreshadowing of 'Halloween' not ever being a pleasant time for Severus... so sad; so well done - thanks!
