Reviews for His First

Always loved the name you chose for your heroine. So beautiful. Eagerly awaiting more.

Author's Response: Thanks. I searched long and hard for a suitable name. I think it fits her nicely. Thanks a lot for reading and commenting. More is on its way.

Excellent chapter. I am very worried for Nadezhda, what a hideous situation for her to be in. If I was her I would try to imagine that Bartemius Crouch Jr looked like David Tennant - a tall order I know but worth a shot! Trust Bellatrix to make a terrible situation a whole lot worse.

Author's Response: David Tennant, yeah, why not ;-) Not sure it will make her situation any more pleasurable, though. Glad you're liking this so far.

Wow, that was an intense chapter. And the end blew me away. I thought Severus would warn her about Barty later, but it's too late. He's getting engaged to her! I hope they don't force her to have sex with him. Poor girl...

Author's Response: Poor Severus doesn't get many chances in this story, neither does the girl. As for her having to have sex with Barty ... I wouldn't be so cruel, would I? Neither would Bellatrix. Or would we now?

That was a really good chapter. I was stunned to find out the girl is only joining because of a Vow made long ago, and forced upon her. And I think I saw more than friendship between her and Charles. Well done.

Author's Response: Cheers! Don't really know what to do with Charles just yet, but I'll try to be nice with him. But if you think I created trouble for Nadezhda so far ... let's say I'm not done yet. Thanks for reading!

Good work so far, a solid premise from which to branch out. I'm not sure that Snape would have been immediately made head of house, but that doesn't make me dislike this story an inkling. I'm very interested in hearing more

Author's Response: Thought Snape being made HoH at once was canon, since Slughorn retired. Oh well, might be wrong. Chapter 2 is at my beta's. Hope you'll enjoy it once it's up. shouldn't be long.

I love it when Severus finds romance, particularly when it's also a teacher/student scenario. I am looking forward to more of this!

Author's Response: He sure deserves some good loving :-) This "romance" might be of a different kind, but hey, one never knows what the Muse wants. Glad you liked the first chapter. Hope you'll enjoy the rest as well. /M

This is a great start to what looks to be a very different fic - I'm really looking forward to seeing where this is going; you've tempted me back into the deep waters of fanfic reading/reviewing again! (Although I still pop on here from time to time & occasionally add my four penny worth.) It's really lovely to see that your muse is still in fine form! I hope all's well with you :-)

Author's Response: Very different fic? Oh, no pressure there, Sevvy :P Glad to see you're still around. Missed you!

This is looking very promising. It brought up a warning in order to let me in to read the story, but I am not sure why. I hope Severus can convince her not to join the 'dark side'.

Author's Response: The warning might have popped up because I gave the story a mature rating for later chapters. Glad you read and liked. *hangs head in shame for still not having read I, Too, Shall Follow*

Hi Morgaine. I enjoyed your story. You have done a fine job of giving Snape a Head of House task befitting HoH. Canon Snape does many supervisory duties which are simply not a senior staff members province. Boarding schools are still a way of life in the outback here, (my husband, his father, grandfather, many friends) all had to board. Dormitory masters/mistresses are junior staff members, frequently university students. Thanks again for giving Snape a Housemaster role of more than a curfew enforcer!

Author's Response: Hi! As much as I like Snape swooping down on curfew-breaking students, I agree with you that someone else could do such a petty job. A prefect, maybe? I hope the task I gave Snape here is more befitting his skills and intellect. I also hope you'll enjoy the rest of the story. /M
