Reviews for I, Too, Shall Follow

See, I *am* back. I really hope Real Life will behave and let me read more than just the first three chapters.

Author's Response: Yay! You're back!! *Does the dance of joy*. You're right, real life is over rated.

I'm so happy to see you're posting this excellent series on SH as well as FFN. Hopefully no one here will act like Sirius (i.e., be a harassing jerk) as they did on FFN. I've read everything of yours on FFN and loved all of it. (I was careful to start with the short stories, then read the novels in chronological order). I just finished DENM last night, caught up on TVD, and am eagerly anticipating the next chapter of TVD. Thank you so much for writing these stories. You do an excellent job of balancing humor with drama. You may not be a wolf, but you're certainly a first-rate writer.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for this review! It really pleases me that you've read everything--and in order! *does the dance of joy* It is always great to hear compliments, so I thank you again. Most people really don't realize how vital it is to an author, who may take 10 hours a week to post a single chapter, to offer encouragement so the author feels like it is worth it. Your review made me feel like it is worth it, and I treasure that.

I remember now that you had mentioned this story before when I first started reading DENM, I'm glad to see it here, I'd forgotten about it and now I'll get to read it. I'm glad that in Slughorn Severus does have somebody who is sympathetic to him. My favorite part though, the one that had me laughing out loud, was this: "Lucius literally flinched. He knew that tone, and he didn’t like it one bit. His first instinct was to point accusingly, which might be interpreted as a bit juvenile. He was, after all, twenty and a half years old; he was more mature than that. “Father brought it up,” he tattled. Abraxas shot him a look that very succinctly said, 'Thanks for covering your own ass while hanging me out to dry’."

Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I am posting the prequel to this on Lumos, please check it out. It gives a lot of info--like why Sirius and Lucius hate each other so much. Sirius is indeed at his finest as a little prick here, lol. I loved writing Narcissa here and in The Beginnings of a Death Eater. She had a lot more fire before kids tempered her. :P

A very nice first chapter that makes me curious for more. Very good work.

Author's Response: Thank you for reviewing. I think you'll be pleased to see the story line picks up very quickly next chapter. :P

I'm so glad you're posting here! I haven't read this one yet, so it's a real treat. I have to wonder if fate sent Severus that dream because he's about to do something to help a Malfoy soon?

Author's Response: I'm glad you're reading this story, I think it is my favorite. Here I really developed Severus and a lot of others, and created Mateo, etc. I wish everyone who reads Death Eater No More had read this first. :P Oh, and good insight! That dream was prophetic.
