Oh, yuck! Dolores?!!! Interesting that Lily waited until the very end of Holidays to drop her bomb. I have to admit that Tobias warning has crossed my mind, too.
Author's Response: I'd wig out if I had to be Dolores, too!
Lily is a b1tch. She can't stand seeing Severus with someone else, and in her typical meddlesome manner decides she should inform him of Glenna's unfaithfulness. What a sweetheart. |

I found Lucius' pussy ordeal hilarious. Really well written. I am surprised that Glenna hasn't annihilated Lily yet.
Author's Response: That pussy ordeal was one of the most fun scenes I have ever written. Lucius is the most fun to play with!
Glenna has shown remarkable restraint, hasn't she? Of course, being Slytherin, we should be surprised about that.(if we believed common folklore about them) :P |

I have been waiting for this.Lily surprises me,interfering with her dog-in-the-manger attitude.
Author's Response: Lily is a class one b1tch. She doesn't want Severus...or does she? She doesn't even know, but she can't bear seeing him with another. |

Why do I find it so hilarious when Lucius has to deal with life's little annoyances? I loved the meeting he infiltrated, and the way he reacted to it!
Author's Response: Writing Lucius dealing with Muggle life, embarrassing Lucius, making Lucius suffer through little annoyances: these are a few of my favorite things! (imagine me singing that like in 'The Sound of Music') LOL |

That's a happy holiday all around. Everyone gets a little something of what he wants, although nothing is quite perfect for anyone.
Author's Response: Yes, just like a real holiday...no one is ever satisfied, lol. But at least no one was tortured, that's a start. |

So Severus thinks he's figured out how to make the best of things, and Jack starts applying pressure on Glenna. It's going to be interesting to see how Glenna will assert her loyalties.
Author's Response: Severus is too sure about a lot of things, isn't he? He sure learns a lot as he ages. Jack loves Glenna, and resents Severus, obviously. Things get convoluted whenever I'm at the helm. :P |

Another riveting read! Really enjoyed Abraxas. Just a language pick here, you use your American term ass, not the Brit/Aussie/SthAfrican arse.
Author's Response: I love doing Abraxas, he is just so cuddly and abrasive at once. I was going to use arse! When I initially wrote this, I used most all American-isms, then in later stories started becoming more British. I just didn't want to go back and change all those things, lol. |

Ooh, I am enjoying this. More soon please.
Author's Response: Thank you! As the story goes on there will be many more twists and turns sure to keep you on the edge of your seat...or a little off-center, anyway. :P |

You are absolutely right about Regulus, he did deserve to be a real person, not some pissy initials on a note(plot holes big enough to drive a road train through!). My favourite fantasy books are Tolkien (all titles), Raymond Feist: Magician, David Eddings: Belgariad. If you have not read any of these I highly recommend them. These books are perfection, they cover every topic JKR tries to cover, and deliver so much more.
Author's Response: I actually clapped at your 'plot holes big enough to drive a road train through'! How true! I loved 'The Hobbit', though I found LOTR reading rather tedious--but loved the movie, although it differed somewhat. Tolkien did live in his own world, and I can see that totally. I, too, made up a language for one of the books I wrote. :P |

I really love the subversive thoughts of Lucius. I don't feel Lucius tried to stop Severus from joining V enough. Canon seems to borrow heavily(entirely IMO) from Hitler without much original cause for DE recruits joining up , giving fic writers plenty of scope I guess. I love Glenna serving it up to sweet, wonderful, she who pees holywater Lily! You've done a great job of Regulus and the Blacks.
Author's Response: Hehehe--half the fun of writing Lucius is doing his subversive thoughts. He's so good at them, lol. I agree, he didn't try hard enough to stop Severus--like he could have gone to Sev's mother, or to his own dad.
Yes, I think JKR did borrow heavily from Hitler et al, and there are so many holes in her stories that need filling...that's where I come in.
I can't stand Miss Wonderful, either--can you tell? Hahaha.
I really thought Regulus deserved to be a real person, esp. with the sacrifice he made. He feels like family to me. Am not crazy! :P |
