Makes me wonder what would happen if that lift got stuck, and in order to prevent him having a panic attack, the only other occupant, be she Muggle or witch, would take matters in hand... Great work! Author's Response: OMG, I can just see it! Some woman trying to either smack him up or play kissy face, lol. I realize we all have to credit JKR for penning the books, but many of you writing here have far more insight, intelligence and craftmanship than JKR will ever have!! I agree that JKR dropped the ball in not even trying to develop the 'bad boys', which gave me and others the opportunity to give them life and personality. That's pretty ugly that she didn't see fit to straighten it out, but perhaps that's what's needed for the canon events to work out as they did. Author's Response: I have never seen Lily in a good light--can you tell? Haha. But judging strictly from book 7, if you read the excerpts of her with Severus, she really wasn't a good friend (not forgiving, not loving, not kind to him). This is one example of it, in my world. I wasn't surprised that she suggested Severus get married. I am surprised that Glenna hasn't started pushing him in that direction yet. Author's Response: Lucius is a manipulative man, no doubt, but he does the best he can for those he loves.
