Reviews for Double Detention

|Not only is it a detention for both of them, Severus is noting how far from Lily Ginny is as a student. Is he perhaps trying to console himself that while this Potter also got the redhead, Harry's girl isn't as good as his own was? Good little vignette; thank you.|
Author's Response: You got it! Thank you for reviewing; now I can go feed some plot bunnies.... :D

Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it!

|Interesting that he sees it almost as a detention for himself, too. Also interesting that he almost seems to want to protect Harry from Ginny and what he would consider the fickleness of womanhood.|
Author's Response: Thank you for your review!
Snape does consider a detention that he has to supervise as a detention for himself. Pushing Harry onto another teacher would not be enough--he knew that anyone else would him get off easy.
I didn't think of him protecting Harry from Ginny; I thought of him gloating over keeping them apart and the possibility of her dumping him while he was copying out cards. I do find your idea fascinating, that "the fickleness of womanhood" would be one more thing (along with everything else on his plate) for Snape to guard Harry from!
Again, thank you!
