| Vicarious traumatisation... Severus really got more than he bargained for whilst probing Nagini's mind! His confrontation with Rodolphus was deliciously cruel and satisfying to read. I also enjoyed your characterisation of Narcissa, she often struck me as quite perceptive and appeared to understand the value of unconditional love. Given the horrors of Nagini's recent experiences, Severus seems to have stepped up to the plate and developed further into the man we know from the original books. Very nicely done! | Nagini's encounter with Voldemort was gripping! A good balance of shock, terror and suspense, and a taste of things to come. Poor Severus, trying to contain his emotions but struggling against the overwhelming onslaught... It's satisfying to experience his feelings in full force before he learns to discipline his mind.
