Lovely story, but not quite canon-compliant. It's clear from DH that the Shack incident was *before* Snape called Lily a Mudblood. We know it couldn't be before fifth year, because PoA-Snape says that Sirius was 16, but we know it had to be before the end of their friendship because Shack-Lily is still claiming that they're "friends - best friends..." and the only complaint she seems to have of Snape's behaviour is that he's hanging with a bad crowd, not that he's doing anything nefarious himself. |

This was an absolute delight to read! I'm so glad you did this. I love the way you combined the runes, her letter to Harry and her thoughts in order to tell their story. It's heartening to know that he actually had a real friend and a true love in the end. Thanks
Author's Response: I'm very pleased you enjoyed the story and illustrative bits -- thank you! |

This was lovely! I really liked Bathsheba and I love the subtle way you let us know he made it. Good for them. Well done. And I'd like to see what happens afterwards too.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm not planning on a sequel right now, but it's entirely possible that a continuation plot might hit me in the future. :) |

Wow. Brilliant. I love the voice of this. There's a lot of love behind it, wanting the story that got out there to reflect all the sides and not just the hero versus villian ones.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! :) |

Great story! I love the layout with the letters on parchment and the runes. I knew you'd come through in the end and that Severus would survive. It's good to know that he had someone who truely cared for him and cared about him during all those years. It's a shame he didn't use Legilimency on her years before, but on the other hand that could also be what kept her safe. Kingsley knows, so they haven't toally abandoned the wizarding world and burned all theor bridges behind them. Do you have any plans to take this further?
Author's Response: Thank you! I don't have plans for a sequel right now, but I don't know that it could be ruled out... :) |
