Reviews for Orion's Pointer

Rose of the West 2009.12.10 - 11:15AM 56: Chapter Fifty-Six—Track Signed
Another layer of the onion is peeled away. So now he senses her in ways he did not before. It used to be that he had no idea when she was moving but now her movements send of reverberataions that seem impossibly loud to him. There are some things in the nature of this partnership that I like very much. Interesting that she foresees he will have someone in his life some day.

Author's Response: Thanks for the review, as always! It's not so much as foreseeing something in the way of a premonition, but more an assurance that he would not be allowed to be unpartnered.

I'm sorry to hear real life has been hard on you. I must admit to hoping you would update soon, and I'm so pleased you have. Once more, another great chapter, with just another tantalising titbit of information revealed. Parr is weakening mentally - what does that mean for her and Snape's relationship? Her confession that she was afraid of him came as a shock to us all. Is she afraid of her feelings for him? And that those feelings will render her out of control? Indeed, is that what we are seeing at the moment with her mental barriers crumbling? Bravo for another lovely chapter. I hope real life gets sunnier for you from now on and allows you chance to continue your wonderful story.

Author's Response: Thanks so much for sticking with the story after all this time! I'm hoping that over the Xmas break I'll be able to get some more writing done. Your questions are a little tricky for me to answer since my intention is to answer them in a future chapter, but I can tell you that Strikers rely on the mental strength of their Handlers. Without that, their control is poor. This will always result in a bad outcome, if not just for the Striker, but often for the Handler as well.
