Reviews for To Dance by the Light of the Moon

Lovely chapter clearing the air a little. I loved the unconscious possessiveness of Severus standing up before he rippped Hermione's arm off for daring to touch Luna.

Author's Response: Thanks, Vixen. I think he's just beginning to view himslef as having some sort of rights, even they're just protective ones. Thanks for commenting. Hope you enjoy the rest. Scaranda

I was left with the feeling that Ginny is a much beter friend for Luna than any of the other three, and not at all surprised that Snape had taken a "shine" to her. Loved Luna's idea of giving everyone a Niffler for Christmas so they could steal their presents.

Author's Response: Thanks. Titaniafey. I think Ginny would be much nicer friend: non-judgemental, kind, and all the right things friends should be. Mind you, there is no such thing as a good friend in my book, you're either a friend or you're not. Thanks so much, as always. Scaranda

Oh, and clearly, in the needling information out of people without asking category, Luna has Snape pretty well whipped.

Author's Response: Hasn't she just, Rose? There are no flies resting on our Luna. Thanks for that. Scaranda

"Isn’t that lovely… a baby werewolf? I wonder if it will be pink or blue." That's classic Luna, alright. It's a little know fact that the gender of a newborn is revealed, not by their anatomy, but by the colorful hue of their skin. :)

Author's Response: I know; so many people put far too much emphasis on 'bits and pieces', when a quick glance would suffice. I mean they only do them in pink, blue, or purple, don't they? Thanks so much for taking the time to drop a line. Scaranda

Trickie Woo 2009.11.19 - 10:34PM 10: Chapter Ten Signed
Well, it looks as though I was right about Lupin, and now Minerva is in on it too. What about Aurora, is she part of it too? How long will it take for him to figure out what Luna just said about him being in the same year as Lupin? Is he so besotted that he hasn't seen yet what's right under his nose, that she wants him? Of course that is a rather large nose to see anything under.

Author's Response: Oh, I think it's a very fine nose indeed. As to working out what Luna says, well, Trickie Woo, be fair, that's a little challenging at the best of times. Thanks for that. Scaranda

Rose of the West 2009.11.19 - 08:50PM 10: Chapter Ten Signed
*snort* So his scathing criticism is a benediction? Some of the Potions Masters in this story have a high opionion of themselves, LOL. Well, he managed to manipulate a few answers out of Lupin and Luna, but he doesn't know what he wants to know, yet. Has it become a point of pride for him, that he's going to needle it out of her without asking?

Author's Response: I think he's just trying to master the steps of the hesitation waltz, Rose, but instead of going three forward and two back, he's going the other way. Thanks for that. Scar

A lovely story. I never thought Luna - Snape could work so well, but you make it work! You write Luna wonderfully, I laugehd out loud about the potato peeling earrings. And I want a crumple horned snorkack for christmas. ;-) Can't wait to read on, but I know I won't have to, you update very quickly.

Author's Response: Thanks so much, Herbologist. Snorkack on its way to you, posted in time for Christmas! Many thanks for dropping a line. Scaranda
