thats so sad, why cant Severus EVER get a break, this is the third fanfiction in successon (not on purpose) that i've read that ends up like this, or at least of this effect.

Author's Response: Sorry. If it makes you feel better, they get back together someday. :)

Give the man a kiss, will you? ;) I like this story, like Severus in it a lot.

Author's Response: Wow, thanks so much. He'll get more than he's bargained for, for sure. This is a relatively short fic. Only a few more chapters. Thanks for reading!

"If one of his Slytherin students had fed him a line like that, Severus Snape would have given the idiot a month of detentions. Coming from the tall, thin, and shy woman before him, however, it sounded pathetically plausible." and "The tone that meant anything but what the words said." Those two are fantastic. The only part I wasn't too happy with is the fact that Snape agreed to teach her to fly. I mean, he wwas willing to lie to his boss baout being busy, surely there was some reason he didn't brush her off too.

Author's Response: Thanks for reviewing! I don't think he knows exactly why he agreed either. [She turned and left silently as he smirked at his paper. The article had been finished long ago. He sent it off with one of the school owls a few moments later and ate lunch early so as to be on the pitch when she arrived, only just beginning to wonder how she’d gotten him to agree. Had he just been startled by her odd shifts in behavior?] You aren't the first to balk at that, but imagine being exceedingly impatient with your little sister, who's barged into your room too many times, and agreeing to whatever she says just because she's hysterical. It's sort of like that.
