Very beautifully written, but so sad.
Author's Response: Thank you. It turned out much sadder than I had intended, I have to admit. /M |

Oh that was lovely. So very tender. *sighs* When she watched the sunset alone at the end, I kept hoping she saw the flash of green that you can sometimes see, right before the sun actually sets. I've only seen it once. So very fitting for Snape and the green of Slytherin. This is a story I will definitely remember.
Author's Response: I've never seen that flash of green. What a shame. If I had, I would certainly have given it to her to remember her Severus. I am very happy that you find this piece worth remembering. Thank you. /M |

Hopefully I will manage to give you inspiration for a more cheerful piece soon. But I thank you very much for this one. I will do what I can, little one.
Author's Response: Work hard! |

Thought I'd just be the first to review on this site, even though I have already read/reviewed - it's giving me a second chance to say how good this is. It really is poignant and beautiful and so fitting for the current time of year. (My favourite season in fact, with the gorgeous colours etc. 'Season of mist and mellow fruitfulness...' and all that!) It is lovely also that you've dedicated this to your friend; I'm sure he realises how blessed he is to have someone like you to support him :-)
Author's Response: Thank you for leaving another note, sevvy. It means a lot, especially because this little piece is very dear to me. /M |
