| What an astute explanation for why Snape was so unpleasant. Being a young person who expected to die in a few years would make anybody nasty. I also thought his problems with the Moonease potion sounded accurate. I particularly liked the description of their baby's being a daughter with nonstandard equipment. What a lovely chapter. Author's Response: Thank you! I think of all the people in canon, Poppy was the one to notice and hear that part of the story. I had fun thinking up the Moonease potion, and the difficulties brewing it. And the daughter with non-standard equipment tickled me. For just a few minutes, I could see him being a bewildered brand-new father whose mind wasn't exactly running in a forward direction. ;) Thank you, again! | |||

| Wow, another exciting chapter. So much for the elder wand. | Darn, and here I thought all these women wanted Severus for himself, not just as a stud. Not that he wouldn't be good at that. ;-) Well, at least he has one woman who wants him for himself. Severus will have to be his most sneaky self to get them out of this, since Katherine is preoccupied with her pregnancy. | It's so nice to see women literally fighting over Severus, the guy who could never get a date. I also liked the way he blushed when Poppy congratulated him on the baby. Author's Response: Yes, having women fight over Severus fits the fandom if not the canon, I think, LOL. I also like to think that when older women tease or compliment him he can blush. | Yay, Katherine's hair is stringy and greasy! She's become a true Snape! :D Good fight scene, too. I especially liked the "Slytherin Special" snake spell, even if it was red instead of green. | I'm so glad you finished this story. I started reading it last year when you began it, but quit after it wasn't updated for a while. It's a little odd seeing Severus "Cary Grant" Snape, but it makes at least as much sense as those slash stories. I particularly liked this exchange: Charles: "Is one of your potions responsible for Katherine's delightful new curves?
Severus: In a manner of speaking, yes. Author's Response: Hee hee, I admit to liking that line, myself. The whole point of this universe was to picture the Death Eaters as much more glamorous than we see them now that the canon is complete. It is a deliberate step into OOC and AU.
