| Urgh. What's with the ring? I'm enjoying all the intrigue. We seems to get some things straightened out...Demeter meeting her father, Morgaine admitting to some of her feelings and then more things crop up. It's like the Whack-A-Mole game at the fair! I'll keep reading, even if I'm a bit slow at times but you know how RL is. Author's Response: Hey, that's a beautiful ring ;) There are more mysterious things and more trouble waiting for our Potions family, but I'll try to be nice. And I know indeed how RL is. | I think the meeting went okay. Put it this way, at least our dear potions master didn't spit, snarl, hiss, roll eyes or make scathing and/or sarcastic comments! Demeter handled it well. I'm glad she's in Gryffindor (breathes a temporary sigh of relief) as I know there's trouble ahead in them there hills... | Finally the chapter is out! I wish I could write in Italian to explain better my thoughts. However. Two things have hit me: the first one is Snape declaring that he want to stay with his "family". Always. This can have a lot of interesting developments in his future (form of) life. But, much sweeter, it's the admission of need. He needs his family, the thing that keeps him linked to earth (my opinion, of course).
The second thing, a bit more alarming. Demeter is not wearing her mother's gift for the night. This might be OK for the night, but will she wear it in the following days or will she forget, as it is too big for her to wear? Morgaine should reduced the size, perhaps.
As always, I wait impatiently for more. Author's Response: Trust me, I am also very impatiently waiting for more. Curse Real Life to interfere with my fan fic writing! Severus has always been a protector. Now, he finally gets to protect someone who is important to him, his own flesh and blood. It is a new experience and potentially frightful. But Severus is Severus, he will do his best. Demeter is a good girl. She will wear the pendent she was given by her mother and Morgaine will certainly remind her of it. You should be worrying about the ring instead. (Scared yet?) | |||

| Finally I get to review this chapter. I must say that I had to read it twice, before appreciating it completely. I felt disappointed at first for Severus' reaction while meeting his child. Well, I suppose he has to learn how to be a father. It isn't easy for real men, let's imagine for a ghost! However, I'm sorry for the kid. Fierce as she may be, it must have been sad. Not exactly as she imagined. But perhaps I am projecting myself into her. I feel my reactions. In any case, I'm curious to see how this relationship will develop. And of course, I'm afraid. I know you.

Couldn't imagine him giving the girl a hug and ask her to call him "Daddy", right. It's Snape! He needs time to come out of his shell. Let's give him that time :) | |||

| This is a heartbreaking story, because Severus is never gets his girl.

| Dear you, I wish you could banish Lucius from your stories. Every time he appears, something bad happens. I can't but feeling worried for Morgaine and Demeter. And, knowing your kind attitude towards your little creatures, my fear doubles. ;) Author's Response: I like Lucius :) and he is so not the biggest problem in this story *whistles innocently and walks away* | |||

| I have liked the chapter, so full of interesting points, and the dedication. Your granny must be great. Back to the story, it seems that Demeter is a promising young witch, with many peculiar characteristics. Can't wait to see what she will do once she arrives at Hogwarts!
