I glad to see that all is coming together now and that Severus is now sure of all his allies and trusts them. Even his cock is lying low on this night. On this night before the battle he has shown that he can control it, and that he is the master and not his cock. That means victory is assured because Severus will give the battle and those who fight it all his attention.
Author's Response: Just one more to go now, Trickie Woo. Thanks so much for your support the whole way through; I've been quite overwhelmed by the reviews I've had on this. The final act is coming up. Thanks again. Scaranda |

Lovely. It's just gorgeous, the way you've brought everyone into this chapter, and shown what their role is for the last few scenes. I also think it's funny the way Snape's mental description of Ginevra has changed so completely. Those grapes are sour indeed. Situated as he is in that tangle of limbs, Snape shouldn't miss her.
Author's Response: Sour grapes indeed, Rose! He dropped the 'virgin' prefix from the virgin Ginerva quite quickly, didn't he? Everyone on stage for the final act, as you say. Thanks so much for your wonderful support the whole way through; it has meant such a lot to me. Scaranda |

Oh joy... I was sure this would be the last chapter, and now I find there will be at least one more. I just loved the way you showed Lennox off in this chapter, I confess I had a twinge of doubt about him too, and his true reasons for his faith were much more likey than just blind obedience to Merlin... well done. I liked the way you showed Severus's grudging appreciation of the Grim, and the way Malcolm slipped in at the end, as though all the players are on stage for the final act. Thanks so much, Scaranda, for sharing this wonderful story. I can't wait to read what I suspect will be the last chapter. From Vixen
Author's Response: Thanks so much, Vixen. This was supposed to be the chapter, but the next one definately is (as you say, all the players are on the stage for the final curtain call)! It has just to be be tidied up now. Thanks so much. I've been quite overwhelmed by the reviews I've had from everyone on this story. Scar |

Author's Response: Thanks again, Pitt. I'm quite overwhelmed with the reviews I've had on this story (perhaps I should write het more often). Thanks again. Scar |

Well, I think Severus should have all the women!
Author's Response: Yes, I did too, dear, as long as they form an orderly line... behind me. Thanks again. Scaranda |

Like the rest of your reviewers I loved Macduff's wife. The whole picture you painted of the visit to Fife was so well done, with the contast bewteen Flitwick and the Olympian, and neither being the fools you first led us to assume. I love the way Severus manages to turn any setbacks with women to a high when it suits him, even when the Grim steals Ginerva from under his nose ... like with his closing thought "content for others to enjoy his leavings until he saw fit to harvest them for himself." Perfectly Snape!!
Author's Response: The Olympian will be back, don't worry! Thanks for the comment and for reading along. Scaranda |

Excellent work with the ghost of Banquo.. from him beginning his walk, right to his last appearance..well done!! I've been anticpiating this for ages, and it certainly didn't disappoint. Really dark at the end with the Fey and Thomas, and Severus's own doubts about the power they now hold. I'm going to be sorry when this ends, as I think it'll be quite soon. Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: Thanks Titaniafey. I confess I'm rather regretting the end is in sight too, although the story seems to about twice the length of the original play! Thanks again for reading and reviewing. Scaranda |

I'm playing catch - up again. This was a great chapter, left me breathless!!! It was quite ingenious how you made the switch, with the grim slipping into the dog pack and Lupin and James leading the hounds off again. I loved it all!
Author's Response: Thanks, Titaniafey. Glad you're back onboard. It was quite fun to write this chapter, and about time the Marauders did something! Thanks again. Scaranda |

Heh, heh, did Snape plan the way that Tom's mistrust of Lennox sent him right out to listen to the witches? I had to take a moment to remember the Fey isn't Bellatrix when Tom sent her out with Rudolph to "entertain" her. I must say that the madness of Macbeth as things start to circle him really does mirror the madness of the Tedious One in HP. I hadn't seen it so clearly before. Brilliant.
Author's Response: Thanks so much, as always, Rose. Thomas will find himself as naught but a harp the others have played, I promise. Thanks again. Scaranda |
