I read the first 22 chapters a while back on another site, and enjoy the story. So glad you've updated! Please make the updates more frequent.
Author's Response: Thanks, glad you liked! The current chapters are somewhat shorter and so may be up faster--I hope. |

I am glad I stumbled into your story. This is very well written. Your portrayal of Snape's inner contradictions is fantastic. His hatred of Potter is very beleiveably fleshed out (much more so than the original.) Yes, I do have critisicms of JKR's work,I think it is a long way from Tolkien, Peake and Lewis.
Your Sirius is incredibly well done, once again a lot more real than the book version.
It was very credible to see the Dark Lord actively trying to recruit Severus for the genius and weapon that he is.
JKR would have us believe Severus was somewhat less talented than he had to be I feel.
I could say more, but must dash, please continue!!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad especially that you liked Severus and Sirius. I enjoy writing them both very much. Superficially they seem like opposites, but they have a lot in common. |

Here we see that the question is about which fold Severus will finally be taken into. The battle at hand is as much for his soul as it is for James's life. Quite thought-provoking.
Author's Response: Thanks! I do like thinking about the various influences that must have worked on Severus at this time. |
