Neville is a confused boy. That's evident. It's just sad to see it so heartbreaking to Hope. I wish he'd give her the benefit of the doubt. Maybe someday.
Author's Response: Thank you! Yes, Neville is confused. So must most of the student body be confused, really. I think, given that the Death Eaters now have free reign in the castle, it's kind of hard to see anyone from Slytherin as a person. |

Ahhh... wonderful. And this time I want to kick Neville right in the backside. Seeing the familiar plot from Severus' POV makes me understand much better how dire times must have been in Hogwarts while the "Golden Trio" hunted down the horcruxes. Can't wait to see the next chapter - and thank you that you are much faster than I have been! Cúthalion
Author's Response: Thank you! Neville is very confused right now, isn't he? He's figure it out and eventually he may even grow up. The canon gives us snippets of what was going on at the castle, and I read those bits I was put in mind of the siege of Atlanta as described in Gone with the Wind, and then after the war ended and Atlanta was under martial law. |
