Your story was fun and intense at the same time! I liked the idea of being able to have a true and false Patronus, though I didn't think a bat represented Rora since I tend to think of Snape as the bat. But I'm glad they got a happy ending, thanks for writing!
Author's Response: I was playing with the idea that your Patronus manifests as that of the person you love (e.g. Snape -> Lily). So Aurora's would be Snape's bat (b/c he's totally a bat!) Thanks for R&C! |

As touching as it was to read in DH Dumbledore saying "After all this time?" in response to Snape's patronus, reading your "Don’t tell me it’s still that fucking deer!” line really went in the complete opposite direction and was hilarious. Thanks for the laugh! I think with or without Lily, anyone loving someone as complicated as Snape would be frustrated in one way or another. |

So Aurora is a student at Hogwarts when Severus is a professor there? (his first few years there?) I'm curious to see how she knows about Lily. |

I would have liked more of a back story to start with, and I think there was perhaps a flashback (the part with the tattoo) but at first was confused because I thought it was something going on during the concert. The outcast/punk rock idea sounds interesting though and I'll check out the other chapters. |

I like that they came together, finally and that it was more as equals. It leaves us knowing that they can have a solid relationship together.
Author's Response: Thanks. I did feel that we needed to see an (as you say) equal experience, rather than her topping him. |

She must be very confused at this point. He's sending off mixed signals, but of course he's not at his best. I hope she hears him out and hasn't left the castle or something.
Author's Response: I'm still working on the next chapter - which should be the last. Hope you'll find it a satisfying conclusion. |

That was full of sweet little moments. The bat patronus is quite perfect.
Author's Response: Thanks for the review! |

I can see her making him pay for making her wait so long, but this seems a bit extreme.
Author's Response: To be honest, I didn't really see it as punishment, per se. I was writing it more from the view that SS is not able to engage with his true emotions unless compelled to - his pride etc have to be broken down. If Aurora were going to punish him, she wouldn't let him have his cookie! ;) |

Oh, dear. She must be frantic.
Author's Response: I actually found it very challenging to write panic. Maybe you could tell! |

Oh, dear, what a suggestion! If that doesn't fortify Severus's resolve to keep the Tedious One from winning, I don't know what would.
Author's Response: Aside from being (well) icky, I figured that Carrow was also the one least likely to hold SS' respect (therefore the one to make the idea most repugnant). |
