| This is by far your best chapter in this story so far, sad though it is. Cassandra is definitely a strong woman and, like so many people when faced with the prospect of death head-on, is coming to terms with it and accepting her fate as she knows she has no choice in the matter. It is of course going to be much harder on Severus, as can already be seen. On a lighter note, I did love the bit about Severus being trapped in the 'sugary pink nightmare' of Eydis' birthday party - can just see him squirming! I await the next chapter with mixed emotions; however, I know it will be written well and with feeling by you, as always. (BTW: I really hope your shoulder is better today :) ) Author's Response: I am very happy you liked this chapter. This and the couple that follow were rather hard to write. Yes, Cassandra is strong, but also stubborn. And seeing as Severus is just as stubborn, there might be trouble ahead. But they'll work it out, I promise. (Shoulder's good, quite sore though.
