I kept thinking that Severus would be the one to rescue her in that alley. She surprised me when she took care it all by herself. Now she needs a good night's sleep before she can think straight and realize all that has happened. I think once she does she will realize, as Rose said, all he has gone through to get there. BTW, where is he staying? Author's Response: She's a pretty tough cookie, and well trained. (hah, I tricked you!) She's very distraught, and as you've both mentioned, isn't really thinking right. Hopefully, her head will be clearer in the morning. Severus is staying at a hotel close by. Nothing fancy, certainly not the Waldorf. He basically went to the first decent hotel he could find once leaving Bree's side.

Yeah, she's not thinking straight. She's with the man she loves, who she thinks hates her, but who went through miles of red tape and crossed an ocean to find her. Surely she knows him well enough to know how difficult that all was for him, especially. She's had a rough day, she's entitled. I'm looking forward to when he visits her again and they can talk it over. Author's Response: She does know how hard it would be for him to do that, but like you said, she's had a rough day. She'll give him a chance in the morning.
