Wow, you really don't like Lily! To be honest, it's nice to see a different take on her, rather than this perfect, angelic soul that everyone seems to see her as. It wouldn't surprise me if she was a bit of a bitch, to be honest. X
Author's Response: Lily's complicated. I try to see her as someone like the rest of us, with good points and bad ones. I like to think I could have been friends with her, but I wouldn't have been tossing flower petals in her path, if that makes any sense. Thanks for the review! |

And thus the feelings of sibling love between Harry and Hermione are explained. Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: The story grew out of a discussion Trickie Woo and I were having about whether LE or HG was more of a Mary Sue. I finally said that it's as if HG was the love child of SS and LE and there it was. It's also my way of explaining why I just can't read SS/HG or HP/HG. Thank you for reading it and leaving a comment! |

I thought this was a really good story. Very imaginative, and yet it seemed plausible. I like the way you tied everything up and I liked the idea of Hermione starting an orphanage.
Author's Response: It was a kind of odd thought one day and then after a while it fleshed out and here it is. Thank you! |

I thought it was beautiful! 10/10! It was so plausible, unlike other fan fiction; it ties in well with everything that JKR's written. Not to mention, it's well written.
I agree with one of the other reviewers, it would have been nice for JKR to put this in her books, but I guess you're just to smart for her. ;)
Author's Response: Thank you! I've tried to make it as consistent as possible with canon and I'm glad if it is. I'm a bit startled if I've indeed come up with something new. In my six months or so in this world I usually find that what I thought was a great twist is in some other story from five years ago, LOL. |

What an absolutely fabulous story. Beautifully written and believable too; I could well accept this as the true version of events (and how much better the story would have read if JKR had thought of it - lets hope she doesn't get to read this & get a jealousy attack!!) Once again this version of events brings to light Lily's stupidity in chosing James over Severus & her total selfishness in not recognising his needs; my hatred of her grows ever stronger! Thanks for sharing.
Author's Response: Thanks! I try not to be too hard on Lily. She's really a wonderful person. The problem is that she knows it and as I see her, she is a bit self-absorbed, as teen girls can get. She never gets a chance to grow out of that in the canon. |

There is more to this, right? Great start, I can't wait to read the rest.
Author's Response: I envision taking things through the daughter getting visited by the solicitors and all the fallout from that. Dealing with the half brother might be interesting, too.
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! |
