I've been looking forward to this since you finished 'Wolf's Moon'. I began to have some suspicions about Phillip when 'Jems' showed up and you confirmed them when Phillip stood up for himself, so I wasn't surprised when he turned up at Hogwarts a year later. It was mid September when I visited Hill Top Farm so the garden was pretty much finished for the season. I hope to see it one day in the state you described. Like Rute, I also bought gifts in the shop for the new baby of a friend. Author's Response: Oh, did you? delighted smile I wish I had the chance to pay that place a visit, too... all I know about it comes from photos and books. What a delightful epilogue! I can completely see Ruta being a friend to oppressed children she comes across. I love the mental picture of Winky getting despotic, too, since she was well on her way in the other story. Author's Response: After Winky's portrayal as a miserable (mostly drunk) creature it tickled me enormously to give her a more powerful attitude. And the fact that she dares to order her Master and Mistress around (at least a tiny little bit) speaks volume about her happiness and newfound self-confidence.
