Neville uses his claim that he's come to forgive as an opportunity to get a bit of his own back, by telling Snape off and announcing his own superiority. Shows his "fairness and compassion" I suppose. Well written. Author's Response: Thank you, yes "forgiveness" comes in many forms. I'm sure I was working out some of my own demons in this piece. I have a piece of flair on Facebook, that says, "Forgive your enemies, it screws with their heads." I'm just glad that Severus took it in good stride and commended Neville for he braveness and honesty. Acknowledgement is perhaps the best forgiveness and way to heal. Wow, I sound like Dr. Phil.
