I liked Severus' handling of the Slytherins. If he hadn't shown them that they couldn't get away with what they had done, they would have walked all over him. Author's Response: Thank you! Just once ... and then savour it for the rest of my teaching career. /M Author's Response: Some teachers can do that without magically fixing student's tongues to the roof of their mouths. Half the kids in our neighborhood were scared of my mom; the other half had one of the other math teachers. She was just mom to me. :) Of course, times are different now. Thanks for the review!
