Glad to see her taken care of! Good job!

A great chapter - I loved the slow build-up and then the release of the tension. I thought Severus would do a simple "Obliviate" on Vicky - removing her memories was so much more subtle; a nice touch.

Author's Response: Funny enough a simple "Obliviate!" was my first thought (and written into the scene in the very first version). But my clever beta convinced me otherwise. Thank you so much for reviewing! Cúthalion

Another brilliant chapter that rendered me speechless. (Mind you, that doesn't happen too often.) Thank you for sharing this wonderful story with us. /M

Author's Response: Sorry that I'm so late... and thank you for your gracious and enthusiastic review. Cúthalion

I wasn't expecting this after the previous chapter, I figured they would cut her off at the pass. But I'm glad Ginny and Hermione got there before Vindictia Stone could do reaL harm. I like the very Slytherin way that Severus/Stephen handled her. She won't remember anything, but she will know she has lost something of value to her. It's the perfect way to handle someone of her nature. She won't be able to blame anyone or to hold a grudge because she has no one specific to blame it on. I hope Rita fires her and she ends up i9n the gutter where she belongs. Will Ruta come back in the next chapter?

Author's Response: I think Stephen is right; Ruta has nowhere to go now but her own house - the one place where she feels safe. And of COURSE she comes back! *smiles* Cúthalion

Wow, a lot of action in that chapter! I hope Ruta comes back soon. Maybe she's already at Stephen's house?

Author's Response: No, not yet. But she'll come home, I promise. Thanks so much for your review! Cúthalion
