Oh dear, oh dear, and all went to pieces from there... poor Severus, it's all so hard for him. You describe his social and "romantic" inabilities so nicely and truly, my heart truly went out to him in this situation... poor bugger. One can only hope that Cassandra is realising his insecurity and inexperience, and is going to be generous about it...
Author's Response: Poor guy never gets a break, does he :-( |

No, I didn't hack into your computer. But as you already know, we often think alike.
Author's Response: Scary! ;-) |

I finally got through answering my email, catching up on laundry, and we went out to dinner and now I can sit and read fan fic. How did Minerva get to the bus station? I thought she'd be able to Floo to Cassandra's place before Per got there. As you told one of your reviewers, the drunk don't lie (unless it's a mean drunk), they're like children that way; that's why Per has given him food for thought. But Poppy recognized it and told him flat out. I hope that both of them have pushed him forward in recognizing just what he feels. It was nice to see him back at Hogwarts, but since he had to earn an MD to become an anesthesiologist I think he would get more fulfillment out of that than going back to teaching. It must be a very positive feeling to know that you can take away the pain people feel, and I think he needs the reinforcement of that feeling. It must make him feel that he is atoning for all the pain he was forced to inflict. He has the option to go between both worlds too, so he can always go for a holiday or a visit. And what if Cassandra doesn't want to go back there to live?
Author's Response: The 'bus station' is a cover-up. Of course, Minerva did not get there by bus, but they can't tell Per that. For the rest of your review: did you hack into my computer?? ;-) |

Will she be able to return to the wizarding world, or will it stir up old feelings? I'm glad he's thinking about coming back, he should at least have the option. This is such a wonderful story.
Author's Response: I totally agree with you, he should have the option to return. Glad you like the story. Cheers. /M |

A pleasant Christmas. I was surprised that he so readily returned to Hogwarts, but he seems ready to merge his two lives once again. He realizaation, well, I guess he's not totally there yet, that he loves Cassie is nicely developed. Of course, he wouldn't just wake up one day and say "I love her." It would have to be a well thought out realization.
Author's Response: Yes, it is time for Severus to make peace with his past. As for his feelings for Cassandra: a man like Severus Snape who has spent a great deal of his life making sure that people do not like him, it is hard to recognise a feeling like love. He would need help, somebody who rubs his nose in it. Per might just have done the trick. Drunk people do always tell the truth. Thanks for leaving a note. /M |

That was sweet. I like that he's finally joining the parts of his life back together. He would have felt something missing if he did not.
Author's Response: He could have run all his life and never been able to escape. Thanks for reading and leaving a note. Cheers. /M |

Lovely chapter! I can so understand him that he longs to wear his old clothes again, a part of himself... I forgot about the beard, though, and am glad that he got rid of it. Somehow, I can't imagine Snape being a beard-type at all.
And HOW interesting that Nicodemus likes him all of a sudden... but who does not want to see, does not see at all, does he? ;o) But it's so nice that the party acts as a cataclyst and speeds up their relationship - and helps Snape to do what he really wants to inside. Men are just soooo complicated ;o)
Author's Response: I always though men were rather simple (hehe, sorry guys) ;-) Yeah, the beard had to go. Sure, I imagined him looking like the Sheriff in Prince of Thieves, but it didn't work! And one has to love Nicodemus, right. As always, thank you for reading and leaving such a lovely note. Cheers. /M |

I hope this isn't the end, you still haven't followed through on the reason you hinted at as to why she was so tired in Chapter 10. Now that their differences are resolved and they've had make up sex, I hope to see them happily together. As I said, I hope this isn't the end; but if it is I hope you've written an epilogue and included those snakeskin boots.
Author's Response: Would you please wait!! Can't have all this in one chapter, can I. ;-) |

I'm glad they 'worked' things out. Lol. They're really good for each other in an angsty way. What was that crack to Rose of the West about you not doing romance? Are you insane?
Author's Response: There are those who sat that I am the most unromatic person on the face of the earth. And there are those who say that I am insane, too. *grin* |
