Thank you so much for this story. I throughly enjoyed it from the first word to the last.

Author's Response: And thank YOU for reading and letting me know that you enjoyed the story. Hope you'll check out the sequel. /M

You made me cry.... as I do not do that very often it is quite an achievment, you story was brilliant in more ways than I can tell.... 10 out of 10 is not nearly a high enough rating

Author's Response: I'd like to start with apologising for the late reply. It does not normally take me that long, but RL has been crazy. Thank you very much for reading and reviewing. I've re-read the story myself a couple of weeks ago, and I must say that I am very proud of it. Hence, I am very glad that you enjoyed it. Thank you for letting me know.

I just want to say this is an amazing story. Very touching and heart warming. Though it was difficult for me to read the ending of the last chapter because I was blinded by tears. So moving.

Author's Response: Wow, thank you! I am so glad you liked the story. Hope you'll read the sequel, A Gift of the Goddess. You'll get to read a bit more about the years I left out between the two last chapters. /M

Author's Response: I am very glad that you enjoyed my little story enough to read the sequel. Hope you'll like it. Cheers. /M

damned hypocrite..its always easier that way eh? well i was wrong but still love this!

Author's Response: He'll get over it. He just needs some time to do what he does best: brood ;-) I'm so glad you're enjoying this!

hehe I am loving this! and boy I think you have seen Snow Cake..that bedroom scene is a bit familiar..no complaints *YUM* she's a squib..I can feel it ;)

Author's Response: Guilty as charged, I just could not resist that scene from Snow Cake. It's too lovely! Squib? haha, if it were that well! :P

Alas, I am enjoying this too much! I got the biggest smile at the dress code.. yes. yes! YES!

Author's Response: Too much? Is there such a thing? :P I had to introduce a dress code. 5 chapters without billowing robes is quite enough.

I just spent my afternoon with your story and I enjoyed it very much! Although the ending was sad, I'm happy for Severus that he has found unconditional love in his lifetime. He deserves nothing less. (Cursing JKR for killing him off) Thank you for keeping him alive!

Author's Response: Dear Aurorgirl, I am very glad that you liked my little story enough to spend the whole afternoon with it. I am not happy with JKR for killing off Severus either, especially not it such a ridiculous way. There is a sequel to this story, in case you are interested: it's called A Gift of The Goddess. Wishing you a nice Sunday. /M

I really enjoyed this story, although the ending made me very sad. I see there is a sequel, so I'm going to check that out now :)

Author's Response: Glad you liked The Way Home. And I am also very glad that you want to check out the sequel. Thank you. /M

Author's Response: Well, I am not a nice person, sorryyy! And I do like my Severus a tad sad. Seriously now, I have hard time imagining him as a 'family man' and 'happily ever after' is a concept I just cannot get into my head. So, yes, I think most of my stories will be bittersweet. Really hope you liked it, though. /M

Why do the ends of your stories always make me bawl like a baby? Okay, not all of them... but... Wahhhh! Thank heavens I'm home alone and don't have to explain to my kids why I'm a weeping mess. Cruel temptress of an author. Making me happy with one chapter, then morose with the next.

Another wonderful job. Although after the intense struggle that they had, I would have wished for them to have a little more time together.

Author's Response: I know, I am terrible. But I like my Severus sad. Oh I am such a sadist. Thank you for being here, debjunk, for reading and leaving such lovely notes. I'm very glad you enjoyed my little story. /M

I cried my eyes out reading this last chapter (I hold my hands up to being a total softie); beautiful absolutely beautiful. I could just imagine Severus with a daughter like this and feel he really would adore her and be so protective of her. I have been reading this story through only recently (I was a bit late discovering it and therefore gradually been 'catching up') and have loved it from start to finish. I think I mentioned before that it was pretty much perfect. It's now been added to my 'favourites' so I'm sure this won't be the only time I read it all the way through! You write so well. Thank you so much for sharing.

Author's Response: Dear Sevvy Thank you for your kind words. I am very happy that you enjoyed my little story. Thank you very much for reading and leaving such lovely notes. They mean a lot to me. /M

Author's Response: I am very glad that you liked my little story. Keep your eyes open for a Christmas Special. Cheers. /M

Reviewer: star_girl Signed [Report This] Date: 21/11/08 - 02:40 pm Title: XXII: The Circle Closes (epilogue) I read this first on the coach and I welled up. At first I was upset you killed Cass, but if you post your Yule story on here too, I think others will see the true beauty and the skill in your writing of this difficult and sad situation.

Author's Response: Hush, the Yule story's a secret so far ;-) Thanks for you kind words, luv.
