I've always figured he went to Dumbledore's funeral. I've read several stories that had him attending the funeral using polyjuice. The most interesting was the one that had him attending as Delores Umbridge because he knew that everybody would avoid Umbridge. The raven was a good idea, he wouldn't miss a thing perched in that tree. It seems like Morgaine totally forgot the conversation she had with Dumbledore in his office that morning. If she had remembered she would know better. Did you see Michael Phelps win his 8th gold medal? Author's Response: I was sound asleep when Phelps swam. Need my beauty sleep ;-) To your review now: I always wanted Severus to attend D's funeral. He is not a murderer, and he would want to take farewell. About Morgaine: So now you suddenly want her to trust Dumbledore? That was new ;-) She knows that something is not right. But she is confused. People have told her for years not to trust Severus. And now they seem to have been right. But she isn't giving up on him yet. She goes down to his office, hoping to find some evidence of his innocence. And don't forget: she is still wearing the Wyvern.
