| I wasn't paying enough attention to what I was typing and I got the wrong pronoun in there. What I meant to write was I think HE realized realized, at least sub consciously if not consciously, that it was him she cared for, not Lupin, when she threw herself in front of him to take that curse. It makes more sense this way doesn't it? Author's Response: Yup, that did make a lot more sense! I figured you meant something other than what you wrote. | |||

| I'm glad she finally broke it off with Lupin, sometimes getting dumped can be a good thing. I think I realized, at least sub consciously if not consciously, that it was him she cared for, not Lupin, when she threw herself in front of him to take that curse. Nobody else would have done that for him. Thanks for letting her off Bellatrix, I hate that b!+[h, she's much more terrifying than the Tedious One. He was one dementional, but Bellatrix was fully drawn as a terrifying character. Author's Response: Bellatrix truly was a horrifying character. She had not a shred of decency in her. Not that Voldie did, but your right in his being one dementionaly. I think quite the twisted tale could be spun about Bella. But "Ding dong the witch is dead" has now been sung. As for Bree, she really does care for Severus and is finally happy that they are together. | |||

| Good, good stuff - well worth the wait! I'm liking this story more and more! I'm so glad that Severus is at last seeing sense and realising that there is someone out there for him and, more importantly, that he deserves to be loved by her. I look forward to more from you soon..... Author's Response: He is realizing that, and it will help him to open up with her. The man definitely deserves to be loved. Sorry for the delay. | I'm a little worried that Remus will be too "noble" to break up Brianna. I'm worried that Severus will be too "noble" to want to date her. And I'm particularly worried by her employer's cryptic remarks about how she shouldn't let her heart get involved with anyone. Meanwhile, it seems less likely to be Dumbledore, I think. Author's Response: I think both of these men can be too noble for their own good. However, in our next chapter something will happen that will wake Remus up, and he will then be too noble to keep dating Bree. Things should go along nicely from there. ;) | |||

| Her boss/master or whatever he is seems to want to meddle in her affairs. Does that remind you of anybody? Anyway, it sounds like both Bree and Severus are ready for a passionate affair. How close to the misguided canon are you planning ti stick? As always I want Severus to have a happy ending with a woman he loves. Above all, I want them to survive and lots of Death Eaters to bleed, suffer, and die. She only seemed to have the good guys suffer in the books and in a war both side suffer casualties, deaths, and collateral damage. A pair of snakeskin boots for Severus wouldn't come amiss either. Author's Response: Her boss does seem a bit meddlesome, but, you know, he's just looking out for her, and mostly for his plan. This story really won't go anywhere near canon. We're not even going to hunt Horcruxes this time around. And you know me, I hate it when Severus dies, so, you can figure he'll make it through, no matter what. ;) | |||

| I agree, that was one time Harry actually hit it on the mark about somebody else. Remus was responsible for impregnating Tonks, he should have taken the responsibility for birth control if he had such worries about any children being born as werewolves. Since he didn't he should have stood up and been a responsible husband and expectant parent immediately instead of doing the cowardly thing. I was well disposed towards Remus before I read DH last year, that turned me on him. Author's Response: I too think that he shirked his responsibilities as a husband and father out of fear. I was pleased when he finally came to his senses and returned to her. It's too bad JKR didn't go into a bit more detail about that little side story. It would have been interesting to get into Remus' real feelings about his decision to return to his family. He's always been a bit cowardly because of his Lycanthropy. It's too bad he let it affect his relationship the way it did. I think his ultimate death softened his previous actions for me. His life was pretty tragic all around. Bitten as a child, having to deal with being a werewolf all his life, rejecting Tonk's advances because of it, finally coming to his senses, then getting stupid again, then coming to his senses again, only to be cut down in battle. It's a pretty depressing history, and quite the run-on sentence. ;) | |||

| Good, things are really heating up between them. I can't wait for more, will she and Remus break up in the next chapter? I hope so, she was only involved with him as part of her assignment and he wasn't really in love with her. Give him to Tonks, though she deserves much better than what she got from him in DH. Author's Response: They won't break up until the chapter after next. Remus is very confused and needs to sort out his feelings. She'll wait for him to make a decision. He won't be the giant jerk he was to Tonks like he was in DH. I could understand his feelings, but his decision to run away was quite cowardly. I find Harry sometimes a bit self absorbed and childish at times, but when he told off Remus, I was totally with him. | |||

| Not kidnapping Harry is a problem, for sure. Of course, torturing Harry's least favorite professor isn't exactly going to bring Harry running to help him, either. Real smart, voldie. Author's Response: Voldie was never known for his ability to think something through to the end. He always got stuck in the "I'm so powerful everything will go as planned" phase and forgot to prepare for other possibilities. | |||
