Chara Parr is, bar none, the greatest OFC I've ever read, and this excursion into her mind was terrific. Not a trace of Mary Sue here, no matter how hard you search for it. She's complex to the nth degree in the way that truly interesting people are; I love her weaknesses and her fears and the mistakes she makes; and geesh, I adore the ever-changing way in which she both regards and treats Snape. Keep the man on his toes, Chara; it makes both you and him utterly fascinating to watch! *still wishing she'd managed to cram that spider into his mouth, ha ha!* Oh, and I also find your take on Lupin particularly rich and humanizing. Matter of fact, that's a good word for the entire story: rich.
