Reviews for Morgaine's Story

The Mugglechief 2008.06.01 - 05:25AM 14: XIV: Old Enemies Signed
Old Enemies indeed. I was wondering when Lupin would show up as he was mentioned in the first chapter. Will there be a second "Lily moment"? Poor Snape.

Author's Response: Ah, you're attentive. Be assured that Lupin only will do nice things. You know I have a soft spot for him. Thanks for reading and reviewing. /M

I should have figured that once again a Marauder would throw a fly in the ointment. But I love the logic of why he's there, the nights are so short that it makes his transformatio much easier. I wonder, does it even get dark enough in the summer in Iceland for the moon even be visible when it rises? You told me about how late the sun set is where you live and I know that it didn't get fully dark in Edinburgh when I was there over the Whitsuntide weekend some years ago (the last weekend in May that year), it only got to a mid twilight. If that's so, he may not be able to transform at all.

Author's Response: Very good question, Trickie. The moon IS visible even in the middle of summer, but together with the sun. And yes, maybe this would be enough to make Remus not transform at all. I have to confess that I am no expert on lycanthropy. Thanks for reading, checking and reviewing. /M
